Schoenhals Symposium

This year the Music Department will host award-winning Philadelphia composer Kile Smith for Greenville College's annual Schoenhals Fine Arts Symposium!

Hailed by critics, performers, and audiences, the music of Kile Smith is increasingly sought after because of its unique beauty, emotional power, direct appeal, and strong voice. 

 

During his residency at Greenville College a concert of Kile Smith’s music will be given on Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, April 15 Mr. Smith will also be speaking in the College Chapel at 9:30 a.m. and giving a composition master class at 2:30 p.m.  All of these events will take place in the James E. Wilson Recital Hall located in the Whitlock Music Center at the corner of Elm Street and College Avenue.
