Get pumped for Shakespeare’s ROMEO AND JULIET like you’ve never experienced it before, coming to Greenville University this December. With a design concept and soundscape inspired by a 1990’s Greenville College vibe, this production is guaranteed to smell like teen spirit.
Our abridged, fast-paced script runs approximately 1-hour, and features a 90’s-inspired live soundscape by Mandy Pennington. This is a PERFECT introductory experience for younger students and families who are just warming up to Shakespeare. Spoiler alert: this play ends badly. Hey, it’s a tragedy!
Produced by the Center for Visual Culture and Media Studies (CVCMS) at Greenville University and hosted by The Factory Theatre. Starring Silas Groves, Kaylee Gaines, Nate Wieland, Tabitha Rice, Amber Wibbenmeyer, Bethany Hegener, Kelsey Middleton, and Sean Pope. Production team: Courtney Bailey Parker, Kahre Hiles, Victoria Bledsoe, and Kathleen Malone.
